An action for contribution brought by Heritage against the County of Sheboygan arising from payment of claims to passengers
for personal injuries they sustained when an automobile insured by Heritage was involved in a single car accident on County
Trunk JJ in the county of Sheboygan. Trial was had to a court and jury and a sufficient amount of negligence was attributed to Sheboygan County to allow Heritage
to recover on its claim for contribution. Heritage moved for judgment on the verdict. Sheboygan County renewed its motion
for a directed verdict, or for judgment notwithstanding the verdict, or that answers to the questions of negligence be changed
on the verdict and judgment be entered thereon, or for a new trial in the furtherance of Justice. The trial court denied defendant's
motions after verdict and granted plaintiff's motion after verdict.
